I. Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Regulatory Compliance Statement
SmashPay Inc. is registered as a Money Services Business (“MSB”) with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (“FinCEN”), a bureau of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, in accordance with the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act (“BSA”), as amended, and its implementing regulations codified under 31 U.S.C. § 5311 et seq. and 31 CFR Chapter X, including 31 CFR Part 1022 applicable to money services businesses.
As a federally registered MSB, SmashPay Inc. complies with the statutory and regulatory obligations imposed under the BSA framework, including those relating to anti-money laundering compliance, counter-terrorist financing measures, recordkeeping requirements, and mandatory regulatory reporting obligations.
SmashPay Inc. fulfills its responsibilities under applicable federal law governing the operation of money services businesses within the United States. The company’s federal registration is maintained in accordance with FinCEN requirements, including applicable renewal and information update obligations pursuant to 31 CFR § 1022.380. SmashPay Inc. operates subject to applicable U.S. federal statutes and regulations and conducts its activities within the legal framework established for money transmitters and other covered MSB categories under U.S. law.
II. Sanctions Compliance Statement
SmashPay Inc. is subject to and complies with applicable United States economic and trade sanctions laws administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (“OFAC”) of the U.S. Department of the Treasury. As a U.S. entity, SmashPay conducts its activities in accordance with the sanctions programs and restrictions implemented by OFAC. SmashPay does not knowingly engage in activity prohibited under United States sanctions laws and operates within the legal parameters applicable to U.S. persons and U.S.-based financial institutions.
The company’s sanctions posture reflects adherence to the federal legal framework governing restricted persons, entities, and jurisdictions under U.S. law. SmashPay’s activities are conducted subject to these requirements and in alignment with the standards applicable to regulated U.S. financial services businesses.
